In other news, I may be getting a new job. I know, I know, I already have three, BUT this one will be full time with benefits in my career field (the tech writing one, not the nursing one). I'll be hearing back from them this week one way or another. I interviewed with them Friday, and I'm not so sure I did very well, but here's to hoping!
Hope everyone's having a good last month of the year! And now time to draw stuff and finish my final projects for the semester. Sigh. Finals week. Here we go.

Ah, I've been getting a steady trickle of new followers this year so far! I'm not sure where you're coming from since I never seem to update, but welcome and thank you!
I have a feeling at least a few of you are waiting for the next Retaining Sanity chapter. I was really hoping to get it up during the first week of the year. I have half of the new chapter finished, and the rest of the chapter already planned out. Happy new year, my dears!
I just got back from my last shift at my university job where I've worked for almost four years now (my building plays host to new year's eve parties every year). This was the first new year's eve where I was the lead manager, too. I think it's fitting to end/begin a year like that with the promise of bigger and better things only a few days away. Hope all y'all had a great and/or interesting new year, too!

Typhoon Haiyan
As those of you who follow the news will know by now, Typhoon Haiyan, the strongest tropical cyclone in recorded history to make landfall, plowed directly through the islands of the Philippines yesterday.
One of my uncles has spent the past few days overseeing evacuation procedures in his area to get people currently living in tents into more secure buildings like schools and churches.
